James McEwan
James McEwan graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia and has worked extensively in orthopaedics and private practice physiotherapy interstate before establishing EFM Physiotherapy to provide the best in manual therapy services.
James has a passionate interest in strength and conditioning training, injury management and prevention and all things to do with the ocean. He has continued extensive post graduate study and training to be able to offer highly skilled treatments of your condition using Muscle Energy Techniques, Craniosacral Techniques, Visceral manipulation, Trigger Point Therapy, Counterstrain and muscle fascia release techniques to restore the body to optimal health, function and balance.
James is committed to making a difference to you and will happily refer to a specialist if your condition requires this.
Tara-Ellen Schebella
Tara studied Physiotherapy with James at the University of South Australia. She has worked extensively in private practice and outpatient clinics since 2000 both in Australia and the UK. Over the last 10 years she has continued her therapeutic training in the UK, USA and Australia in; Visceral (organ) Manipulation, CranioSacral Therapy, myofascial release and Counterstrain techniques. Tara has a keen interest in women’s health (pelvic integrity, core stability and Pilates). She is also a qualified counsellor.
Sandy Johnstone
Sandy has been involved in Practice Management for the past 20 years, managing a large Medical Practice in country SA and a very busy Optometry Practice attributing to extensive experience in a wide range of customer service.
A qualified Ambulance Officer (volunteer) she offers a strong sense of care and empathy towards meeting our client’s needs well beyond booking appointments. Sandy is committed to ensuring all our clients receive the best service possible from EFM Physiotherapy and is always available to help with any enquiries.
Beyond EFM Physiotherapy, Sandy is studying interior design, so don’t ask about the wall colours, they were James’ decision!
Her strengths lie in maintaining efficient administration procedures, with a focus on business development and continuous improvement, which ultimately contribute to our clients’ experiencing an efficient, comfortable and friendly encounter at EFM Physiotherapy.
Tiffany Jacka
Tiffany is currently studying a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Movement and Health Studies at the University of South Australia with hopes of graduating with a Master of Physiotherapy. Her country background and experience in retail has given Tiffany a friendly and approachable demeanour welcoming any enquiries you may have.
